Inaugural First Post

So.

I decided to narcissistically start a new blog called Thrift Thrills. A mouthful to pronounce, if you’re the kind to mouth what you read to yourself. No judgements there. A little bit on why I’ve decided to start this blog, what with all the personal culture/fashion blogs out there. Admittedly, I’m not what you would call, a fashionista, or a hipster, or anything close to that. I’m just a girl sitting in front of the computer in geeky spectacles and clipped-up fringe who enjoys looking at interesting things online and I really just want a place where I can share all these things I find.

So there. Like ‘Thrift Thrills’ suggests, I’m looking at all the inexpensive things I do have in my life (and occasionally the expensive things I can only lust after). I believe the smaller the things in life, the more they matter simply because they are easily overlooked. Enough of the philosophical talk.

I enjoy the many things most teenagers would: music, fashion, gaming, food and art. I don’t know if I’m going to come up with pretty pictures for this blog (although I would love to). Just for background, I’m studying Photography (but that doesn’t automatically mean I take awesome pictures, sadly).

Enough of my self introduction, I’m sure I’ll reveal more as I go along. Adios~
